Wow, again really stinking it up with the daily blogging. Oh well, i was busy with car shopping. Yesterday we went to look at cars again, no true intent on buying one that night, but looking more intently this time. First we stopped at the local toyota shop, and we wanted to look at a rav 4 up close & personel since it was coming in second in my list. They only had them outside and by this time it was raining so we didnt really want to walk their lot looking at cars. We knew what the 2009 rav 4 looked like, we even test drove it last summer. So with a new test drive kinda out of the question, we sat down and talked money. How much, over how many months, blah blah blah. Any how they gave us a very basic estimate of $250 per month on a 36mo lease. This piqued our interest. But I was concerned about the whole recall, and wasnt sure that this was a model year we wanted. But at the same time if we bought a two year old car, the payments wouldnt go down that much and you cant lease a used car. Ok so we thanked the guy and went to the Subaru dealer. We went in and looked at two of the models we were interested in, the forrester and the outback. The forrester was right for us. We went and talked to the guy saying ok what is your price for this at xyz month term. It was to high. We hemmed and hawed. he said well lets go for a test drive-we did and we liked it even more. I was ready to walk away though. I say ok, only way we will think about you guys is if you can match the estimate from toyota. They did. We hemmed and hawed some more and then said yes. I will have a brand new car on saturday!! wahoo!! granted it will be a lease but still. So tonight we decided to check out the appraisal at carmax for me to sell it to them. They offered $2000, wich was more than what Subaru City was offering for the trade in-so we are selling it to carmax instead of trading it in like we said!

On to other things, yesterday I went with my mom to the Milwaukee Public Museum. Normally I HATE MPL. It is so boring and the stuff seems to NEVER change. Well we went to see the special exibit. I was not at all expecting this to be good. I liked body works, but that was only hosted by MPL, not organized and put together by MPL. Ok so even though I thought it would suck, I really liked it and would totally recomend this exibit. Totoally would. It was really interesting to me to see all the artifacts and to hear the story behin the dead sea scrolls. My mom didnt like it as much because she didnt like all the bible refrinces since she wasnt really familiar with the bible. but she thought it was ok So again as a reminder-yes go and see it, it is good!
